It’s been almost 2 years since I’ve come here, but I’ve recently gone to another shop and realized what the experience to get a piercing should look like and thought I’d leave a review!I went here on my 18th birthday to get my helix pierced. I came here because my sister has had all of her tattoos done here but it seems like we’ve had similar issues getting pierced. The piercer was very nice, but pierced my helix with a hoop which has STILL not healed because that’s the wrong jewelry. In addition, my sister came here to get her helix pierced twice and it rejected both times. They didn’t check for either of our anatomy’s. I think that might be a good start for them instead of worrying about the money. I also got my rook pierced here and that experience itself was very bad. Once again my anatomy was not checked and I told them that when I got my helix pierced I felt lightheaded so I would like to watch out for that. Instead, she pierced me and immediately wanted me out. Once I paid I lost my vision and my boyfriend had to sit me down and I had to stay in the waiting area for 15 minutes trying to get my blood sugar back up. The receptionist was very nice and did a great job getting me soda and a lollipop, but I never was checked on by the girl that did my piercing. About 6 months later, it rejected. I went to a different place in Houston recently and they told me I don’t even have the anatomy for a rook and that AI should’ve checked. I really wouldn’t recommend this place for piercings. My sister likes her tattoos and hasn’t had a bad experience that I know of, but I can’t see myself coming back unfortunately. I’ve also seen the way they respond to reviews which is extremely passive aggressive and honestly alarming that they aren’t willing to grow from mistakes 🫣

GMUNKY has tattooed me twice; his professionalism, expertise, warmth and demeanor will always keep me coming back. He takes the time to look at the drawings I bring in and enhances them so that they look twice as good on my legs. He has a very gentle touch and he’s fast! He is better than INK MASTER quality!! The man is real damn good!! I am a senior citizen and for me just starting to get tattooed, he makes me feel so good that I chose him!!! GMUNKY IS A GODSEND 😘😘!!

I came in on Sunday to get a tattoo. AI was clean and their tattoo artist are very respectful. I definitely recommend AI and Kevin. Kevin stayed after hours to complete my tattoo.

Really? If you had reviewed the cameras you would have seen the young lady who was the piercer walk past me. Also, you ALLEGEDLY, told her that I was there for a piercing. You want to tell me why she walked right past me and talked to the other lady. I know why know. Failure to accept responsibility for poor behavior. No matter. I went to a reputable piercer and got pierced. I didn't have to deal with your rinky dink piercer. I'm glad I found out what kind of company you really run.

I walked in for a piercing. No one was waiting. An African American woman walked in after me. The piercer was a young African American lady. She walked right past me and addressed the other lady. I spoke up and said that I was here before the lady. She still took the other lady back first. I knew there was no way I was getting a good piercing there. Really disappointed at this type of behavior in a business.

Drove 45 minutes to get my son ears pierced called before was told I needed birth certificate and my identification get there they are asking a 14 year old for an ID.

We have waited a long time and spoke to many tattoo artist but decided to go with AI tattoo - Nick was our tattoo artist and he did the most spectacular job!!! He is extremely professional and his work is outstanding! I would recommend him 100 time over!

Ask for Lee, he did a great work. Very clean professional shop. I had my first piercing done here and Lee did a great job explaining how to care for it and let me know every step of the way what he was doing. Very fair open pricing with zero pressure or upsells.

Love this shop! I have gotten several tattoos and piercings here. They are professional, clean, and very talented. Spiro did my latest tattoo. He is a very talented artist! He worked with me creating a beautiful design I love! I will absolutely return again and again! 100% recommend!

Thomas was FANTASTIC! This was my first tat and he made me feel comfortable and was very friendly. And the tat!!!! Yeah, goes without saying but he made it look better than what I expected!!! Definitely recommend and would come back for sure!! Thanks Thomas!!

Got my tattoo yesterday done by Jerry. He was great he was kind, patient and skilled. I am so happy with my tattoo its was exactly how i wanted. Will definitely go back for another. The location was clean, great they will take time to listen to what u want and refer u to the artist specialty.

First time at AI getting a piece done. Followed Jerry as he was the one who did my first piece after losing my sister and it only felt right to have him do the piece after losing my little brother. Great service everything was smooth and there was even a hiccup with our original date and he was accommodating and rescheduled me and then when he had an opening got me in sooner. Only spot for all of our ink. Thank you again Jerry!! I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I scheduled an appointment with Nick to get a tattoo done. I saw the great work he did on my wife's tattoos, so I sent him an idea of what I wanted done. His rendering looked great. The studio is very clean and the staff are friendly. Nick was very polite, friendly and professional. You can easily see his passion for art and turning them into great tattoos. His finished work was even better than I had imagined. His eye for detail and bringing the tattoo to life is amazing. I couldn't be happier with the work he has done.
