Joel Torrez has been slinging ink since 1994, long before tattoos were mainstream and back when you earned your stripes the hard way. With over three decades behind the machine, he’s built a reputation for bold, timeless work that hits just as hard today as it did when he started — from rock-solid Traditional and punchy New School to smooth Black & Grey and fully saturated color pieces that don’t fade into the background.

When Joel’s not in the chair, you’ll probably find him covered in paint, cranking loud Rock ’n’ Roll, or chasing the next creative rush. He’s worked in shops across Houston and around the country, picking up stories, scars, and skills along the way.

Now he’s fired up to be part of the AI crew — reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and ready to put some serious work on skin.
